Belize

The most popular investment vehicle is the International Business Company (IBC) which can be incorporated in as little as one day with a minimum of one director (which can be a corporation). Annual government fees are as low as $100 and the IBC is exempt from income tax, capital gains and transaction tax. Florida

Is very popular for incorporation particularly for non-US investors due to the attractive tax benefits. It has the advantage of numerous US double tax treaties and very importantly is not considered a “tax haven” jurisdiction for trading company purposes.

Nevada’s business friendly legislation, lack of bureaucracy and low incorporation and yearly fees allow for maximum benefit with minimum fuss. The legal system has an excellent system in place to protect corporations should legal disputes arise.

EIN Numbers

EIN numbers are obtained within TWO to THREE days of opening your company. The normal waiting period for a non U.S. resident or foreigner is six weeks. Your EIN will be in your company’s name, unless you prefer a nominee director.

U.S. Bank Accounts

U.S. accounts will be opened with a major U.S. bank. Offshore accounts will be opened with an offshore bank in Belize. We will recommend the best bank based on your business activities. All of the banks we work with offer the ability to open your account virtually provided you meet the requirements.

Your account will be in your company’s name and you will be the only signer on the account.

U.S. bank services include debit card in your company’s name, online banking, domestic and international wire services, and business checks.

Approximate time required to open a U.S. account is 5-10 business days from the time we receive all of the necessary documents. For a Belize offshore bank account the process is approximately 48 hours from the time we receive all required documents.

Required documents include:

current color copy of passport (certified is better)
color copy of drivers license or national identify card (certified is better)
proof of residence (utility bill with your name and address less than three months old)
one to two bank reference letters or letters from accountant & lawyer.

Bank Accounts for Delaware Corporations

If you have opened a Delaware corporation or LLC but don’t have a corporate bank account then we have two solutions available:

Register your Delaware company as a foreign corporation in the State of Florida which will allow us to open a bank account with one of our banks here in Florida. You will have all of the benefits of a U.S. bank account. This is best when a U.S. business presence is desired or required.
Open an offshore bank account with one of our offshore banks.

We will recommend the best bank based on your business activities. All of the banks we work with offer the ability to open your account without a visit in person provided you meet the requirements.

If you plan to have a company with bearer shares or a nominee director we can open your bank account in Belize or St. Vincent. *restrictions apply

Offshore bank account services vary depending upon the bank but can include debit card, online banking, international wire services, and Visa/MC merchant account.
